I've returned home...finally

As of February 2012, I have returned home to the One Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church:  the Orthodox Church.  I am now part of the Dormition of the Virgin Mary Greek Orthodox Church in Winchester, Virginia.

I owe special thanks to Bishop William Michie Klusmeyer of the Episcopal Diocese of West Virginia for helping to send me home to Orthodoxy.  I pray that he also may come to the truth.

If only...

I'm tired of "if only"s. Unfortunately, I'm also just plain tired and know that the fire is dying.

Missing the Mount

I am still sad when I drive by the church.

The Sermon on the Mount

The Transfiguration

The Water of Life at Jacob's Well

I had many mountaintop experiences at Saint Andrew's-on-the-Mount but now I must "go down in the valley to pray" [at least for corporate worship]

Who wants to worship again with us?

The lights are out because no one's home

I pass this church almost every day and I am sad. That our church was forced to close can bring joy to no one and certainly not to God Almighty whom we continue to worship and serve.
