The lights are out because no one's home

I pass this church almost every day and I am sad. That our church was forced to close can bring joy to no one and certainly not to God Almighty whom we continue to worship and serve.

Micah 6:8

...And what does the LORD require of you, but to do justice, love mercy, and walk humbly with your God.

If only...

the Bishop had not been intransigent;

the Bishop had not personally attacked the senior warden and a trustee;

the Bishop were not the bishop....

They that wait on the Lord shall renew their strength

We keep hoping that the Lord will grant sight to the inly blind, including the Bishop of West Virginia.  Again and again we pray to the Lord.

Alleluia! Christ is Risen!

In his wake, Bishop Mike has formed a group called the Saint Andrew's Mountain Community Center Project, which will have a community-wide annual meeting at 7 pm on Monday, 30 March 2009.  This project is a secular group to do what the congregation of Saint Andrew's-on-the-Mount had previously been doing (minus the worship).
